London's most iconic and famous bank holiday, Notting Hill Carnival, seems to be the cities most anticipated weekend residing as one of the last festivities of the summer. To celebrate WAVE teamed up with G-Shock to hosted an unforgettable Yard party, staged in the heart of West London alongside the rest of carnival. The day was a memorable one that still goes down in history today with special guest performances like Sneakbo to major league DJ sets like Keyrah, AAA, Izzy Bossy LDN + Kenny Allstar.

We teamed up with converse to create a deconstruction and reconstruction workshop. In less than 24 hours we received 400 applications. Only 15 emerging creatives were given the opportunity to customise a pair of Classic Chuck Taylors. Teachers for the day included: fashion designer Eastwood Danso, Artist and creative director Erin Alexis, Artist Tia O'donnell and shoe customiser Gracie Mean Feet!

Converse x WAVE

WAVE magazine teamed up with HUGO and Mr. Bathing Ape to host the launch of their new collaborative collection, bringing it to life with a performance from M Huncho.

In-line with the capsule’s city life inspiration, WAVE magazine brought the crowd to central London, marking the launch in style with our community of friends and family sporting new pieces from the collection, as well as HUGO classics.

Rappers AJ Tracey, Not3s and Flohio, and Top Boy stars Hope Ikpoku Jr and Kadeem Ramsay, were among the guests welcomed with a champagne reception, as Joce Wavy kicked things off spinning a mix of hip-hop, bashment, Afrobeats and more.

We organised a winter event and hosted a party for Fila & Schuh. During the event, we transformed the entire venue to align with the aesthetic of the brands. In addition, we provided music from our resident DJs and showcased performances from our carefully curated "ones to watch" list.
